AMS Passwords

AMS was upgraded on Tuesday, November 11, 2008.  If your old AMS password was more than 8 characters long, use only the first 8 from now on, or reset your password online.

AMS passwords are now case-sensitive.

Supported Browsers for Campus Business Connect:

You must use Internet Explorer 6 or 7, or Firefox 1.5 or 2 or 3 (for Mac users).  Please note that Firefox 3 is now supported for the majority of Campus Business Connect Applications such as ESS, My Research on-line, Expense Reimbursements, etc. If you experience any problems with FireFox 3 using these applications, please contact AMS help.

Testing with Firefox 3 is still underway for several specialized applications such as the on-line PM performance reviews and the telephone service order application and are not supported at this time using this browser.

Business Continuity Planning

The goal of business continuity planning is to enable us to continue the campus “business” (teaching, research, and public service) regardless of any disruption that may befall us.

The University of Toronto has adopted an on-line business continuity planning tool (originally developed by the University of California at Berkeley) to help your department prepare for adverse events which could be disruptive to your teaching and research mission.

See BCPT for more information.
